Why CLC Bricks? ... Comparison ... Latest.
Why we use CLC bricks?
1) CLC is a light weight brick where
water absorption is less compare to redbrick and fly-ash brick
2) High thermal insulation
3) Compressive strength is more than other
bricks
4) environmental friendly
5) Quantity of cement is less when making
a wall why because accurate edges and even surface
6) CLC bricks life span is more than other
bricks
CLC block size can make according to
our requirements
In India generally block can make

Process of Manufacture of CLC Bricks
Machines we are using :
1. Mixer (Ribbon Type)
2. Conveyor
3. Water Pump
4. Foam Generator
5. Digital weighing system
6. Compressor
7. Control Panel
8. Trollies to carry slurry
9. Water tank 2000 ltrs capacity
10. Foam Tank 500 ltres capacity
11. Platform Trollies
12. Molds
Materials :
1. Cement
2. Fly Ash
3. Protein Foam (Veg)
4. Water
5. Demoulding oil
Process :
To manufacture one m3 CLC Bricks, first we fill the water as per requirement with pump from water tank, Later we run the conveyor and conveyor belt drops 500 kgs of Fly ash into the Mixer. Flyash and Mixer will be started simultaneously. We drop the 5 bags i.e., 250 kgs of 53 grade OPC cement in to the Mixer. Later 1.2 kgs of foaming Agent diluted with 30 litres of water will be added and mixed thoroughly. Air bubbles thoroughly mixes in cement and flyash slurry. At this point the one litre slurry taken out from Mixer and weighed for density. If it shows the required density, the slurry will be drained into trollies and these trollies transports slurry to the place where molds kept. This CLC cement slurry poured into molds. The outer frame of the molds removed after 18 to 24 hours and the separation plates removed after 48 afters. Then the finished CLC Bricks removed to curing area and curing will be done for 28 days. From 29th day onwards our CLC Bricks ready for sale. We are using 600mm x 200mm x 100/150/200mm molds.

CLC Bricks comparison with Red Bricks
How we compare CLC bricks with red bricks when we meet customer ?
If we take One CLC Brick with the size of 6*8*24, which equals 10.6 Red bricks.
One cubic meter area covers 55 CLC Bricks of above size or 560 Red Bricks.
The market price now for CLC Bricks is 3200 Rs per each cubic meter and Red bricks market price starts from minimum Rs. 2440 to 3500 and it varies depend upon quality and city to city.
So the question comes from customer immediately is why I spend more money for CLC bricks?
Here is the answer
Take this example:
1 unit wall brick construction with CLC and Red brick
1) clc bricks for 1 unit wall required around 55 bricks
2) red bricks for 1 unit wall comes around 560 bricks
3) quantity of cement and sand requires for mortar 1 unit wall with CLC
cement : 1 bag cement
sand : 4 bags sand
price : 210 Rs for cement
140 Rs for sand
----------------------------------
Total 350 Rs/-
-----------------------------------
4) quantity of cement and sand requires for mortar 1 unit wall with Red bricks
cement : 2.5 bag cement
sand : 10 bag sand
price : 525 Rs cement
350 Rs for sand
----------------------------------
Total 875 Rs /-
-----------------------------------
5) Plastering for wall constructed with CLC Bricks:
half inch plastering is Enough
Cement : 1.5 bag cement
Sand : 6 bag sand
Price : 315 Rs for cement
210 Rs for sand
----------------------------------
Total 525 Rs/-
-----------------------------------
6) Plastering for wall constructed with Red bricks:
1.5 inches plastering is needed
Cement : 3.5 bag cement
Sand : 14 bag sand
Price : 435 Rs for cement
490 Rs for sand
----------------------------------
Total 925 Rs/-
-----------------------------------
Total cost for plastering and motor joints For clc bricks.
350 + 525 = 875 Rs. Plus cost of CLC 3200 i.e. total 4075 per cubic meter.
Total cost for plastering and motor joints For red bricks.
875 + 925 = 1800 Rs. Plus cost of Red bricks 2500 i.e.,total 4300 per cubic meter.
So at the end of the 1 unit wall construction the price we are spending for red bricks is more than wall made with CLC bricks, apart from that contractor can construct the building less time than red brick construction.
Customer can happy with the advantages mentioned earlier post.
Note : The above calculation we are giving for construction a building with CLC its varies cities and cities and place to place.

What is CLC Bricks
CLC
is called as Cellular Light weight Concrete and it is also called as Foam
Concrete. CLC Bricks are competitive with bricks in pricing and offer
significant savings for finished structures. Savings in construction cost can
be as much as 18% when using CLC Bricks, as compared to brick. Cellular Light
Weight Concrete (CLC) is a version of lightweight concrete that is produced
like normal concrete under ambient conditions. It is produced by initially
making slurry of Cement, Sand (optional), Fly-Ash & Water, which is further
mixed with the addition of pre-formed stable foam. The Concrete slurry is
poured into assembled moulds of bricks. The foam imparts free flowing
characteristics to this slurry due to ball bearing effect of foam bubbles
enabling it to easily flow into all corners and compact by itself in the moulds
without requiring any kind of vibration or compaction. Good Curing gives
strength and dimensional stability to Bricks.
Consistent
quality of Sri Sai CLC Bricks have brought
ample of advantages to the modern construction
Lower weight ensures easy handling. Offers superior nailability and chase cutting features as compared to hollow blocks and concrete blocks. This technology is being widely used throughout the world. Over a hundred thousand apartments, houses, schools, commercial complexes, hospitals, hotels, industrial structures etc.
